The Se7en Project

This week was my first time at Thai Pizza!  We originally planned for a dinner at Bubble Tea, but there was not enough space for the ten of us.  Xiaoyang kept saying "Nam Prig Kao," a name of the dish he ordered, and Olivia kept cracking up :)  So funny!  Belinda got Tom Yum Soup, and it looked really good!  Will definitely try that next time ^^  Derek and Michael split a Thai pizza and a Tom Yum Noodle Soup.  Nom nom nom~  Couldn't really see the other side of the table, but it seemed like Debra, Shannon, Michael, and Jon were having a good time too :D  Family outing success!

(9^-^)9  !  <-- that's a emoticon Daniel showed me.  So cute!

Apparently, it tasted like Pringles? :P

Delish looking!!

My pad kee mao~

TSO family! <3

Everyone was happy with their food, and I'm definitely coming back at least 3 more times to try some other dishes.  Give this Thai Pizza a try; I like it better than the other locations!

This weekend was "The Seven Project," the creation of a music video based on Se7en's "Somebody Else."  Debra and Elaine taught a group of friends the dance, and there was some real production action!  :D  They filmed at a bunch of places around campus and the Loop.  It'll be an fun, action-packed weekend!

I joined them at 9pm, and it's really amazing to see them learn choreo in such a short span of time @_@  *amazed*  Elaine curled my hair (first time!) and applied makeup :)  It was so fun to be her guinea pig, and it made me super happy to see her all giddy XD

Debra's happy too!

Haha, Eric brought in a custom-made pizza from the S40 for everyone.  He even ordered it without cheese for Elaine (lactose-intolerant)!!  What a nice guy ^^

Looks sooo good!  I'm talking about the pizza, by the way ;)  tee hee~

Eric was filming, with Debra and Elaine as director.  We filmed on an empty metro bus with the driver probably wondering what in the world we were doing~  It was so funny to watch Shuran mouthing words he actually didn't know for the music video :P  After we got off at a random stop, we were surprised to find Josh and Elaine in a car-- they had tailed the bus!  :3  Then the 7 of us piled into Josh's Honda civic coupe.  Eric, Shuran, Michael, and Elaine in the back, with me sitting on top of Debra and obscuring Josh's view of the road.  So fun!  But I was a little scared that if we had hit something, even softly, and the air bags popped out, I would have probably died instantly~  Haha~

Elaine, Debra, and Shuran traveled to Green hall with the film crew to take a shot of their dancing part.  I can only imagine that they looked amazing dancing under the arch of Green, especially with the lights shining from below onto the building.  Eric wouldn't let us see anything >_<  But I'm super excited about watching the result.  I wonder where Eric learned how to use his video editing software?

We drove to Art Hill in Forest Park at midnight to film the last scene for the night, and all the guys were dressed up in dress shirts, suits, and tie.  So cool!  And we were freezing to death-- it was freezing temperature with the wind blowing @_@  I had a hot pack to keep my hands warm, but it didn't warm up fast enough~  Any cars driving by probably thought we were some sketchy Asian mafia, haha~

A spiff-ified Daniel

Afterwards, some of us went for a late night snack/meal at IHOP.  Omg, so delicious~  T_T  It was my fourth meal of the day :P  We all devoured everything!  I ended up paying $19 something for my meal...  did they add gratuity?  Because I tipped on top of that it they did ^^''  Oh well, hanging out with everyone in such a fresh and exciting way was definitely worth it!

DC ready to order an enormous steak omelette!

Elaine looking cute and ready to nom~

Today and tomorrow are film days too~  I charged my camera battery, so hopefully I'll take more pictures ^^ Fun stuff, now to cram in some homework!  I wonder how all the other people do it, because I don't have to learn the dance for this music video, so I spend the least amount of time in production :O  The answer must be that they are just simply awesome.

My new goal of the semester is to aim for 7.5 hours of sleep a night for a happier, less cranky me!! >:O  *battle cry*  But that failed last night.. Came back at 3am, woke up at 8:30am.  Nooo!  Nap nap nap <3

Also, we bought plane tickets to the Bahamas!!  *so unreal*  Let me rephrase that.  We're going to the Bahamas for spring break!!  OMGAWWWD!  Super excited-- we're not going to get any rest, but it'll be my first tropical island adventure, and I'm going with awesome people ^^  I'm planning out our events each day, and it's going to be super expensive @_@

Winter blues

I've been checking my email like crazy recently, so much, in fact, that I telepathically read 2 emails that my inbox hadn't yet received.  And I ended up with -2 emails.  Durr..

I felt stupid after gorging on a double steakburger, fries, and vanilla milkshake Friday night, and then another inhaling of enchiladas, refried beans, and tacos with topping at the Lovings Banquet on campus.  :'(  Self-esteem down 342938 points, because I can't even exercise self-control.  *sigh*

A 2 hour phone call back home ebbed away most of the stifled whateverness inside, and my mom told me to go do some online shopping to de-stress.  Haha, whose mom does that?  ;)  My one and only!~  Hopefully she'll still be supportive even after the bills come in, tee hee!  Just kidding, only online browsing this session!

Must be the winter blues... it snowed last week!  I biked to the post office, and on the way back, both my brakes broke, so I was gliding down hill and slowing down by dragging my shoes on the pavement.  Taejin sent me hot packets from Korea to keep my hands warm!  :)

When I'm not feeling too great, I hibernate :P  I couldn't tell if I'm getting sick, not eating enough meat, tired, or just not in good spirits, but I woke up at 7:30am today and then went back to sleep for another 2 hours at 11:30am.  And the bed still looks tempting!  D:  Haha~

Looking forward to an uplifting week, head up high!  ^_^  *march march march*

Study break

Ahh my brain!  Here's a break for me while I'm studying for my test in Early Italian Renaissance art history tomorrow~  :)

The start of the year (after LNYF craziness, that is!) began with being very spontaneous!  If someone asked me if I wanted to do anything, I would say yes.  So I spent like.. $70 on food the first week @_@''  Still want to be spontaneous, but school's clamping down its jaws on me D:  At least I'm saving money ^^''

I also have been forgetting to take my camera around, so I don't have pictures of most of the outings.  Boo.. I really enjoyed eating the food at India House with David and Book; it was my first taste of Indian food in St. Louis!  These two pictures are from Jeff's phone:

Jeff's monkey face and chocolate boba tea

UCity bimbimbop!

Jeff invited me to go with a bunch of his friends (who are suuuuper nice :D) to eat at UCity.  There wasn't enough space for everyone at the counter, so we let the young ones (sophomores!) sit there.  It was Jeff's first time at UCity too, and I tried to make him sit there so he could watch his food being made, but I failed~

Meanwhile, Anna has been a busy little chef, whipping up things left and right in the apartment!  Sean is such a lucky guy, and all the food looks yummy... Anna even makes taro shakes :P  I wonder if Sean makes food for Anna too...  Although I know that the two are super cute together and like each other whole-heartedly, women and gender studies class makes me think this relationship is a bit imbalanced sometimes >_>  Anna didn't even sleep the night before Valentine's day; I woke up and went to the kitchen to get cereal and saw her packing a bento box.  Lucky guyyyy~  Of course, I don't know what Sean does for her at the boys' apartment, so I only see one side of the story :P

Cuties!

Bloop!

Haha, the picture is of Josh squatting in the DUC parking lot!  This one was taken last year, the day before Halloween.  I think we just finished dance practice, and we were waiting for Debra.  Speaking of which, don't you think Anna and Sean look alike?  And I kind of see resemblences between Debra and Josh..  Why do couples look so similar?!

... Do Daniel Henney and I look alike? :D:D:D:D  Okay, okay, he's getting a little old for me..  what about Siwon Kim?!  Ehhhh??  ;)

Actually, I saw a few guys that were "my style" on campus O.O  But they're probably younger than me if I just seen them now  ''ORZ

Instead of discussing boys to myself with typed pixels on this lonely Internet space, I should be memorizing Giuliano da Sangallo's Santa Maria del Carceri.  Gahh, why is his name so hard to remember >_<''  Hope I can sleep for 23982938 hours after tomorrow's test!  :)

Wishful thinking

Text message of the week, this one's from Mom!:

"Have you heard of LINSANITY?  No?  Google it."

Haha :P  I didn't know my parents were such sports fans!

Last night was SOK auditions!  Although I'm 80% positive I didn't make any dances, it was definitely fun!  ^_^ It was kind of like 4 hours of exercise :P

Since I've been trying to tone the abs by first losing the flab, I've been eating less.  I haven't eaten red meat in a while, and I'm starting to feel sleepy all the time again.. need my naps.. ZZzz~~  Dizzy moments are also happening again when I stand up :/  Maybe I should go out and find myself a cow. *the Texan within me*  Will I have the time / will I be more productive to make that time and actually go running or workout? :o

Annnnnd, I want to go to the Bahamas this spring break.  Just spent an hour looking up airline prices.  Haha~

New year, new me!

I'm still alive!  :)  It feels like it's been a while since I've visited the blog!

Anyhow, last weekend was the Lunar New Year Festival show!  I was in the Asian Pop group, and all the other dances looked amazing @____@!!  Everyone is so talented... it's scary!  ^^''

Asian Pop-- performing Infinite's "Be Mine!"

Our three lovely choreographers :3

Right after LNYF, Josh's birthday came on the 31st!  So we had a birthday dinner at CZ, complete with a tilapia fish that Book and Elaine chose to meet its death at the nearby supermarket just prior for our get together.  They asked CZ's chefs to cook it for us :D  It was pretty good~

Book went ahead and ordered, while Anna picked up Sean, Josh, and me.  Really good choices, Book!  There were some special dishes I've never even heard of before, like the taro duck, where the taro flavor was super intense :)  I liked the tofu and napa leaves inside the lamb stew!  Nom nom nom~

Since I opted for a small bowl, Book filled it up with a crazy mountain of rice... which ended up to be two bowls... which I finished x_x''   We packed a box for Debra, since she couldn't make dinner!

Haha, super attractive~~

Fresh fishie, fishie

And completed with vegetables!

Panoramic attempt!

Birthday boy in the middle!

Afterwards, Anna and I went on an impulse trip to Schnuck's!  I was so proud of myself; I left without buying *any* cereal, and I only bought $15 worth of food instead of the usual $50 or $60 I spend on a trip ^_^b  It was fun browsing though!

This is what will happen in 50 years :P

When Debra was done with her stuff at midnight, she brought Josh to our apartment where a Strawberry Passion ice cream cake awaited him!  It was customized with sprinkles and gummy bears with a nice little message :P  I personally don't like gummy bears in ice cream, because they get uber hard D:  But the cake was nice~  I ate a large slice and went straight to bed afterwards.  Hooray?

~*~

A few of my new year's resolutions that are coming to fruition:  be more spontaneous, be more social and meet new people, brush my teeth with the "Bass Method," and work on getting a defined tummy! :)  There's still a few more that I need to start on!

Apparently I need to run to burn away any fat I have on my abs region.  Blahhhh >_<''  Okay, when the weather gets slightly better, I'm running to Smoothie King!  XD
